Alexandra and Kevin's Nelson nuptuals were 50's Funk 'n Garden . From her Dolly Thicke dress and zebra heels to her bright pink Etsy hairpiece [see IInd installment for the addition of my pink cruiser] A & K were looking to create an original wedding experience. Needless to say, Alex and I knew we were a good match!
It's interesting to see how successful the couple's plan was executed, considering Alexandra and her sister were first intending a double-wedding. But when that didn't materialize, the sisters went ahead with unique weddings, one week apart. They shared some ideas, some decor and a reception site on their family property in the Slocan Valley.
Apart from now being husband & wife, colorful Alex & Kevin are doting parents to one yr. old Peyton [wait til you see her!] and are capital F-Fun! [His sis-in-law officially thanked Kevin for up-ing the collective family dance skills]
