This is what 8 & 10 look like in our home. It's been a summer of sleep-over camp, biking & swimming, trips for ice cream & drama (the good kind), camping & lemonade stands. There is so much independence in these 2 miniature bodies, it makes me giddy. I love watching them grow up & into their own. And more than that, I adore watching their relationship develop. No longer is he only the pesky brother but a partner in her business ventures. Not only is she the bossy older sister but head-cheerleader at the BMX track.
God is so good that I would get to watch these lovelies blossom.
PS - He did his hair & wardrobe (hate those shorts) while she needed help every step of the way. Still.
